Depending on the variation, the best hand may be the first five cards that the dealer deals to each player, or the last five cards to be dealt.
Although poker has some elements of skill, it is mostly a game of luck. Having the right cards in your hand is not enough to win, and many of the more complicated variations involve more rounds of betting.
